We have been very pleased to introduce a range of olive trees to our stock at Cornbury Park. Perfect for our terracotta and wooden planters, the olive tree is evergreen and fully hardy, so can be grown both indoors and out.

Traditionally seen as a ‘Sign of Peace’, the olive can be especially graceful, as illustrated by the photograph of two olive trees in our Showroom. That said, the olive can also grow to a great age, and the wonderfully gnarled trunk on this ancient specimen testifies to many years of growth and care.

Plant Species

We supply Olea europea ‘Leccino’. Leccino means ‘Little Oak’, and gains its name from it’s likeness to the Holm Oak (Quercus Ilex).
