If Martin claims to be the brains of the business partnership at Oxford Planters then it his business partner Alex who definitely supplies the brawn, the style and the guile by the bucketful. Never doing things by half, her New Year resolutions are to both get the courage up to book herself in for a tattoo this year and get up close and personal with the entire squad of the Welsh Rugby team. She is passionate about her Welsh rugby, the love affair with the Welsh (and Fly Half Stephen Jones in particular) having begun during her university days in Aberystwyth. Having been what she describes as boringly good at  the local Shipston High school she graduated from the Valleys with a degree in Geology,  a lifelong commitment to support the local welsh side the Llanelli Scarlets and a desire to spend her life as the national team's physio.

Coming down to earth, literally, she instead spent eight years instead getting stuck in cleaning up the Black Country’s contaminated land. Working as an Environmental Geologist she is proud to have made her mark on schemes such as Star Park, Broad Street, the Royal Mail’s Box Centre and Birmingham’s colliery site.
