Newly introduced to our range in Spring 2005, the Chantilly is the first of what will be a series of stylish planters manufactured from cast iron and plate steel, galvanised for durability and corrosion resistence.

Each Chantilly planter is hand-made in our Paris workshops from top-grade iron and steel. The side plates are welded to rolled-steel strakes that not only add rigidity and detail but also lend a smooth, rounded edge to the lip of the planter. The corner posts, complete with classically-styled feet and ball-topped finials, are manufactured from cast iron. The two elements are bolted together before the entire planter is dipped into the galvanising solution, ensuring total coverage and protection from the elements.

The completed planters are then treated with a triple-coating of paint finishes, with standard top-coat colours including Irory, Black, British Racing Green and Oxford Blue. Bespoke colours can be applied upon request.

For that extra touch of class, there is also an option on solid bronze detailing that can include rings, finials, cross-bar, lattice work or even the entire corner upright. Each planter also carries our own distinctive bronze Oxford Planters plaque, although the text on this can be substituted by words of your own choosing to give an added element of individuality.
