| Wooden Planters | ||
| Oxford Planters works with European Oak, sustainable hardwoods, and has recently begun working with AccoyaTM which is being billed as a “new wood species”. It has all the properties of a hard wood and is FSC certified but has enabled co-founders of the company Alex Calado and Martin Adams to apply special paint effects to their planters which have the added benefit of being durable.
A chance meeting with the inventors of the new wood has enabled Oxford Planters to become the first company to use AccoyaTM in this way. It is hoped with the introduction of AccoyaTM that the painted planters could last up to 12 years before needing re-painting. Read more>> |

| Lead Planters | ||
| Unique to Oxford Planters, a series of lead-based planters has been added to the range for 2006.
Currently available in four distinctive styles - ranging from the classical and elegant to the contemporary and chic.
Each planter is hand-tooled by local Oxfordshire craftsmen in thick lead using an innovative new technique that involves wrapping the lead around a durable galvanised steel form. This retains the look and patina of the traditional lead planter while offering the added advantages of resilience to damage, greater rigidity, and gravity-defying strength!
Bespoke patterns and one-off designs are cost-effective and can be made to order. Read more>> |
