The Oxford Bench was launched at The Chelsea Flower Show, designed by Oxford Planters to compliment our planter range. The Oxford Bench has simple strong lines and can be made in Oak or Accoya and has been designed around the same proportions as many of our planters so they can positioned together.

Accoya Benches can be painted in any colour, here the photograph shows the Oxford Bench in black. The Oxford Bench is made to measure although we do a standard length of 1.50m which provides a comfortable two seater. Already they have become a success with sales nationally and internationally in Sweden and Japan.

The Adams Bench was designed from an antique bench photographed on Martins travels. The Adams Bench has a high back which gently tips back topped with a graceful curved design. The bench can be made in Oak, Iroko or Accoya and painted and comes in a two or three seater.

The Milton Bench was inspired by The Adams Bench but with a slightly lower back topped with a straight bar. The Milton Bench can be made in Oak, Iroko or Accoya and painted and comes in a two or three seater.

Based on an original design from the early 1900s the Newport Storage Bench combines traditional style with practicability and convenience. The back and main frame can be made in either natural Iroko or Accoya^TM which can be painted to the any colour whilst the storage seat which is solid and water proof is made in either Iroko or Accoya^TM again to be painted any colour and is designed to allow water to drain away from the back. The storage box is water tight with a solid seat and is ideal for putting away a croquet set, tennis or swimming equipment or cushions. The Newport Storage Bench would make a handsome statement to any part of the garden, swimming pool area or tennis court.

Due to demand Oxford Planters is to start production of a range of garden products made in green oak. The collection will include, benches, tables and can be produced in a variety of sizes and designs. Green oak is timber that has been recently felled and has a high moisture content and as it dries will crack, warp, spit and twist producing a product of individual character and strength.
